ANDREW M. WEISS, JR.
Chief Executive Officer

Andrew M. Weiss, Jr. is the founding principal of Signature Partners, LLC where he specializes in providing strategic advisory services for corporations, financial institutions, service companies, technology, advertising and media companies, not-for-profit organizations, and foreign governments.

Mr. Weiss began his real estate career as a leasing broker for Williams Real Estate Co. Inc.  At Williams, Mr. Weiss received his formal training in the commercial real estate business learning the inner workings of the leasing transaction from the perspectives of an owner, managing agent and tenant.  With nearly a decade of service at Williams, Mr. Weiss earned his brokerage license serving as both building agent and tenant broker.

Mr. Weiss has concluded over two million square feet of leasing transactions in New York and across the country for numerous clients.

In addition to his role at Signature, Mr. Weiss is an active real estate investor in commercial and industrial properties in the New York City metropolitan region.

Mr. Weiss, who resides in New York City, is a 1984 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  In addition to his real estate career, Mr.  Weiss is an avid inventor and has been involved in the manufacture of numerous toy products distributed on an international basis. Some of these products have sold in excess of one million units. Mr. Weiss is the holder of three United States Patents.

 

ROBERT D. FROST
President

Robert D. Frost directs all quantitative analyses for Signature Partners, LLC and is also responsible for client development and corporate strategic advisory services.

Mr. Frost was previously an investment banker in the Real Estate, Gaming, Leisure and Lodging Group of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc.  While at Bear Stearns, Mr. Frost worked on a broad range of equity, debt and mergers & acquisitions assignments on behalf of real estate opportunity funds, REITs, real estate operators and gaming and lodging companies.  Mr. Frost played a key role in the recapitalization of Patriot American Hospitality, Inc. and Wyndham International, Inc.

Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Mr. Frost was the chief of staff of the Global Business Policy Council of A.T. Kearney, Inc., management consultants.  In that capacity, Mr. Frost advised senior corporate leaders of major international corporations on issues related to global expansion.

In addition to his role at Signature, Mr. Frost is a founding Member of Signature Urban Partners, a real estate investment firm that focuses on the acquisition and development of affordable housing and other projects in the New York City metropolitan region.

A lifelong resident of New York City, Mr. Frost received his A.B. from Harvard University and his M.B.A. from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.  Mr. Frost has served on numerous not-for-profit Boards and is presently the President of The Lucius N. Littauer Foundation and the chair of the real estate committee of The Shefa School.

 

DANIEL SEGAL

Danny Segal has worked in commercial real estate for more than 20 years, including from 1998 to 2012 with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, and as an independent broker until 2017.  During his 15 years with NGKF, he was instrumental in bringing about100% occupancy in several buildings compromising millions of square feet of space. Now focused mostly on tenant representation, Mr. Segal uses his depth of knowledge of the issues underlying landlord’s positions to leverage better negotiations for his clients. Mr. Segal understands the complex requirements of institutional and entrepreneurial clientele and he develops comprehensive, individualized strategies to suit their needs.

Mr. Segal graduated cum laude from The State University of Oneonta where he earned his B.A. in Economics and also earned cum laude honors from New York City’s School of Opticianry for his post graduate studies.  Mr. Segal is a licensed Real Estate Broker and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.  In addition, he served as a Board Member for the Epilepsy Institute and was a member of the Board of Directors at Metropolis Country Club in White Plains, New York.

 

MICHAEL PINNEY

Mr. Pinney has twenty-five years of commercial real estate experience, first as a facility director and construction project manager, and since 2004 as a broker.  Working as a corporate real estate executive for various tenants, he executed a number of real estate transactions and oversaw millions of dollars worth of construction. That experience gave him a keen understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of any given space.  Early experiences with data management have evolved into an interest in databases and data mining. For Signature Partners, he developed a large proprietary database of tenant information and manages their direct marketing efforts.

Always a leader, Mr. Pinney also wrote a book on commercial leasing called Getting to Lease: How to Lease Space For Your Business in New York City and Get What You Want. (Available at Amazon.com)

Mr. Pinney grew up in Illinois and graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in Communications.
